In addition to his work as a cellist, Daniel is an award-winning composer, which enables Driftwood to offer an entirely unique service; the commissioning of new music specifically for your wedding, birthday, or other occasion. Whether you have a favorite song that you'd like custom tailored, or if you want an entirely new piece of music built just for you from the ground up, Daniel is happy to work with you to make your music truly yours.
While he usually writes for Driftwood's own instrumentations, Daniel occasionally takes on other projects, like when four musicians who played violin, clarinet, alto sax, and tenor sax wanted to perform original music for their friend's wedding. What resulted was a three-movement piece for this unconventional quartet and dedicated to the lucky couple. All new pieces are dedicated specifically at the commissioner's request, and a signed, framed page of the score is included with every commission. If you'd like to explore commissioning new original music, please contact Daniel directly to discuss rates, content, and instrumentation. |
*We've done our best to properly ascribe credit where we know the composers of traditional selections - if you know something we don't, please let us know!
